My dad highly recommended this office. His praise wasn't overstated! The staff is wonderful - everyone in the office is cheerful and friendly and welcoming. The technology is state of the art and the office is spotless. I saw Dr. Mitrogogos and he was excellent. First visit - includes exam and X-rays - was free! And because my dad referred me, he gets a $50 credit on his account and I received a $50 credit too. Highly recommend!!

I recently had a consult for a bottom bridge with implants. It is a very complex situation. I was so impressed with Dr. Mitrogogos and the staff I will definitely be a patient for all my dental needs from now on. He calmed my fears and explained the procedures needed To go forward.

Dr. Mitrogogos took over the practice and raised the bar even higher. They do everything possible to make going to the dentist a pleasant experience. They make other dentists seem like they are still operating in the civil war era. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, is done with such care and professionalism that I just can't think of anything that would make it better until someone invents a magic wand that gives the patient perfect teeth with one wave over their head.

I started working with Sanford Dental Excellence in 2016. It’s been an extensive process but with the compassion from staff members, friendliness from my patient care specialist and the professionalism and skills from Dr. Mitrogogos and his dental hygienists, what started as a stressful and scary situation is now manageable. With each visit and procedures explained in great detail and no question left unanswered, my anxiety and fear was melted away. You can not put a price on feeling comfortable as a patient. I can't say enough good things about this dental practice. The doctor was meticulous and very precise in his approach to my treatment as were his assistants. The entire staff is friendly and professional. They just seem like nice people who like their job. I/we completed all the work I needed done (which was a lot) and I couldn't be more pleased with the end result. I kind of miss not seeing these nice people as often as I did during my treatment time. Never thought I'd say that about a dental office.

I have been lucky enough to find Dr M over a year ago. He is awesome and really seems to care. I have the ultimate dentist phobia and it is extremely difficult for me to go even for a simple cleaning. The last time I was in the office I didn't have a great experience as I was leaving. That leads me to not going back for a long time. Despite how great Dr M is. Well, fast forward to this past Tuesday. I ahd to go back to have a crown put back on. As always I was panicking and completely scared. But I managed to get in there and the staff were wonderful. But, I had the luck of having Brandy as the lady helping me with the crown refit. She made me feel so much better and didn't seem the least bit put off or upset by my very extreme fears. They truly are the best.

This is the best dentist office. When my dentist retired I found Dr. George and he and his staff are wonderful. I no longer have a fear of going to the dentist.

Sanford Dental is the only place I recommend when asked. Staff keeps you comfortable thru every step of the way and are very knowledgeable. From root canal to extractions; from fillings to cleanings, they're the only folks I trust with my grill!

Best dental practice I have ever experienced. I had 6 crowns installed, it was painless and they look great. Everyone in the office is so friendly and very professional, they really care about their clients. I have bad anxiety when it comes to dentists because of prior history. I finally made the call to come to Sanford dental excellence and loved it. As soon as I walked in the doors I was greeted and was comfortable as they explain everything in great detail. They also give you options and really care about you as a patient. I needed MAJOR dental work and in July had my surgery with Dr.M. He is very skilled at what he does and is very compassionate also. I felt no pain at all. They provide quality care with a gentle touch. I would highly recommend them to anyone and have a few family members who will be making their appointment soon. Dr. Mitrogogos and his staff are always positive, kind, caring and understanding. I’ve been working with them since August of 2016. Almost all of my teeth were impacted by the iodine radiation treatments I received for Stage III Thyroid Cancer. Those treatments while life saving, severely impacted my teeth leaving me extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed to even smile. I've been going to SDE for over 5 years now, and they've always been great! I've never been a big fan of the dentist, but whenever I go, they make me as comfortable as possible, no matter what the procedure. My husband and I moved two hours from Sanford, and I still make the drive for my appointments because it's worth it!

Love the staff...Jen and Jamie at the front desk...awesome! Had my next appt card ready before my cleaning was even done! Noel is on top of her game with my cleanings...in and out on my lunch hour with time to grab a bite!!!

I had my regular cleaning appointment with Ashley. I was taken on time and out in less than 45 minutes. Ashley does an excellent job and does not scold me for not being a good flosser!
