Your Guide to Flossing
Your at-home dental hygiene routine is an important part of your overall oral health. In addition to brushing your teeth twice per day, you should floss at least once a day. Watch this video for tips on how to properly floss your teeth.
Start with about 18 inches of dental floss, and wind each end around your middle fingers. Gently work the floss in between your teeth, unwrapping a new section of floss every time you switch teeth. Floss your upper and lower teeth, and rinse with water or mouthwash when you’re done. Flossing helps remove food particles and bacteria that brushing can leave behind.
